The installation service of the EVODIS 60 Lightning Prevention System is done without prejudice to the parties and at the free request of the client as a protection mechanism for the ship to reduce the risk of receiving electrical overloads due to lightning strikes, every time these are considered "Act of God" or out of the power of control of the human being as an effect of forces of nature, but for which the system presents protection coverage canceling the emission of ascending leaders and ionized channels avoiding the fall of lightning on the boat.
Operation mode
The equipment must be installed in the highest part of the building. Does not include cable conduit or other landings.
FUNCTION
The system prevents the reception of lightning, it DOES NOT attract or conduct it inside the yacht.
SCOPE
The system works for lightning (natural atmospheric electrical discharges) NOT on artificial or man-made loads (ground current).
MAINTENANCE
The system does not require frequent maintenance, cleaning is recommended every 6 months with fresh water at moderate pressure, its omission does not affect its operation.
